Fun With Nostalgia

Some would say that ephemera is the most important kind of nostalgia that allows us to have a good under of the way life was in the past.
One definition of EPHEMERA is “ items of collectible memorabilia typically written or printed ones, that were originally expected to have only short-term popularity or usefulness. A few examples are menus, ticket stubs, newspapers, postcards, posters, sheet music, stickers, and greeting cards. This blog with examine such topics in detail and spend some time doing it. For ephemera lovers, it is a fun experience.

The department store catalogue is a good example of what they thought was a temporary printed material. Usually people would throw away the catalogue once it was finished being used.
